This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the Venting with Omnia mobile application located at omniascire.com/venting and related services.

Your privacy is important to us. We’ve designed the app so that personal data is only used to provide core functionality.

2.1. Apple Sign In Identifier

When you use Sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple-provided identifier that allows you to stay signed in.

• We store the identifier locally on the device only.
• We do not collect your Apple ID password.
• We do not collect or use your email or name unless Apple provides it and you choose to share it.

This identifier helps keep your session persistent and secure.

2.2. Voice Processing Data

Venting with Omnia is voice-first. To generate voice responses in real time:

• We ask for your consent before any processing begins.
• Once consent is given, your spoken voice and its transcript are sent securely to AI processing services so Omnia can understand and reply.

This data is used only for the duration of the session and not for any other purpose.

We use the minimal information we receive for these purposes:

• To authenticate and maintain your session using Sign in with Apple.
• To provide realtime voice interaction through secure AI services.
• To fulfill your requests in the active session.

We do not collect extra personal details beyond what is necessary, and we don’t use your data for advertising or analytics.

4. AI Processing and Consent

Before your audio is ever processed by a third party, you are shown an in-app disclosure explaining:

• That AI services (OpenAI) are used to process your voice.
• What data is processed and why.
• That sessions are ephemeral and not stored on our servers.

You must explicitly agree before voice processing begins.

You can revoke your consent at any time by deleting your account.

5. Data Transmission and Storage

Audio and text transcripts are transmitted securely using encryption when you are actively using a session.

• We do not store your audio or transcripts on our servers by default.
• Sessions are ephemeral — once a session ends, the data disappears unless you have opted into an explicit future storage feature (currently not available in this version of the app).

6. Subscriptions

Subscription management, payment, and free trials are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not receive or store your payment information.

8. Third-Party Services

To provide voice comprehension and generation, we use a trusted third-party AI service (OpenAI). This requires transmitting voice and transcript data for processing during the active session.

OpenAI processes only what is needed to generate responses.
